NonProfits
Our community. Our Mission.
1889 Salvage Co is a purpose-driven business. That means whenever we can we try to give back to the community. We sell certain items in the store for charity, we give space free for non-profits so they can sell their merchandise. We donate funds and items to non-profits to use in their fundraising efforts. Every little thing we do adds up to making a big difference.
Below are organizations we support and how you can support them too!
R4A is a non-discriminatory, all breed, megaesophagus & PRAA experienced, foster home based, 501(c)3 non-profit, dog rescue located in Spokane, WA.
Rescue4All takes dogs who are out of options who come into their program from shelters, law enforcement, rural counties, or are being owner surrendered. They provide safe, loving foster homes during their "in between" time where they learn valuable life & social skills while they find their best suited forever family.
We provide R4A space in the store free of charge for their merchandise and all proceeds go straight back to Rescue4All so they can save precious lives! Find out more at Rescue4All.org.
Safety Net is a local non-profit co-founded by Molly Allen and Coleen Quisenberry to provide a safety net for foster youth aging out of the foster care system. Foster Care ends at 18 but Growing Up Doesn’t. With funds raised this group provides education opportunities, supplies, school books, diapers, food, a bed, laptop and dozens of things that are needed when you leave the Foster Care System. With the help and support of Safety Net, these kids get the chance to not only survive, but thrive. Find out more at SafetyNetInlandNW.org.
